Gweneth Linda Lyons, otherwise known as Ma, Jody or Granny, 77, passed away on February 5th, 2025 in Gatineau, Quebec. She was born in Glace Bay to John and Mary Lyons on August 21st, 1947, in her beloved Nova Scotia.
She made a career serving as a nurse, she appreciated the simple things in life, and brought smiles to people’s faces with her unique and creative sense of humour. Chirrp!
Gweneth is predeceased by her parents, John and Mary, and her sisters Jan (John) McKay and Agnus June (Doug) Hatfield. She is survived by her loving brother, John Douglas Lyons, and sister, Rosemary (Frank) Solich; her three children, Jennifer (David) Martin, Donald Fraser (Morgan Wilson) and John Blake Fraser; her eight grandchildren, and her two great grandchildren.
