À l’Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus, le 16 octobre 2025, est décédée Patricia Catherine Auger (Patsy), entourée de ses proches, après un long combat contre le cancer.
Elle était la fille de feue Madeleine Mullin Auger et de feu Marcel Auger. Elle demeurait à Québec, mais avait également vécu plusieurs années dans la région de Gatineau.
Elle laisse dans le deuil :
ses neveux et nièces, qu’elle considérait comme ses enfants : Christopher Auger (Isabelle Bureau-Carrier), Jason Auger, Gabrielle Roberge (Gabriel Demers) et Maureen Roberge (Antoine Doré-Belley);
ses frères et sœurs : Brian Auger (Jocelyne Lortie – sa grande amie de toujours), Susan “Sue” Auger, son jumeau, feu Michael “Mickey” Auger;
les enfants de ses neveux et nièces : Charlotte, Françoise et Oscar;
ses amis, qui occupaient une place toute spéciale dans son cœur : Holly Seale et Kevin Langford, ainsi qu’Hannah Gruener;
et sans oublier ses cousins, cousines, autres parents et amis.
La famille tient à remercier du fond du cœur la Dre Catherine Bouchard, Marie Codino, infirmière clinicienne, ainsi que toute l’équipe de la Clinique ambulatoire intégrée en soins palliatifs de la Maison Michel-Sarrazin, pour leur soutien et leur réconfort au cours des derniers mois.
La famille recevra les condoléances le samedi 15 novembre prochain, de 14h à 17h, au salon funéraire Funera, situé au 8967, 1re Avenue, Québec, G1G 4C5.

Patricia Catherine Auger (Patsy) passed away on October 16, 2025, at the Enfant-Jésus Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones, after a long battle with cancer.
She was the daughter of the late Madeleine Mullin Auger and the late Marcel Auger. She lived in Quebec City, but also spent several years in the Gatineau region.
She is survived by:
Her nephews and nieces, whom she considered as her children: Christopher Auger (Isabelle Bureau-Carrier), Jason Auger, Gabrielle Roberge (Gabriel Demers), and Maureen Roberge (Antoine Doré-Belley).
Her brothers and sisters: Brian Auger (Jocelyne Lortie – her lifelong friend), Susan “Sue” Auger, her twin brother the late Michael “Mickey” Auger.
The children of her nephews and nieces: Charlotte, Françoise, and Oscar.
As well as her friends who held a special place in her heart: Holly Seale, Kevin Langford, and Hannah Gruener.
And of course, her cousins, other relatives, and friends.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Catherine Bouchard, Marie Codino - clinical nurse, and the entire team at the Maison Michel-Sarrazin Integrated Palliative Care Clinic for their support and comfort over the past few months.
The family will receive condolences on Saturday, November 15, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Funera Funeral Home, located at 8967 1st Avenue, Quebec City (G1G 4C5).
Expressions of sympathy may be made through a donation to the Michel-Sarrazin Foundation.
Condoléances

In our younger days we were close to Patsy and her family. Patsy lived with us and we shared many good times together. She was a committed and well respected social worker. We would visit her parents and Sue in Granby and really enjoyed their hospitality. Later we would often visit and stay with Patsy when she moved to Gatineau and had great times pool side along with Sue and her girls. To the Auger Family: We were very saddened to hear of Patsy's passing. Patsy and I met through our work as social workers. Patsy became a good friend and as far as our family is concerned she was family. Patsy and I were close friends for over 30 years. We travelled together twice a year and when we didn't travel we would visit each other in our home Provinces. On several occasions Patsy travelled with my husband Kevin, and I along with our friends. We were so sorry to hear about the passing of your aunt Patsy. We know how much she meant to you. Her presence, her care, and the bond you shared were truly special—like a second mother in your life.
